Through EVN Green, the origin of the supplied electricity is primarily certified through Guarantees of origin.

One Guarantee of origin corresponds to 1 MWh of electricity generated from renewable energy sources and can be used only once. Once it has been cancelled in favor of your company, it cannot be transferred or used again. This is confirmed through the Guarantee of origin Cancellation statement - an electronic document issued by the national Guarantees of origin registry managed by MEMO. EVN Supply provides this statement as official proof that the electricity supplied to your company originates from renewable energy sources.

If Guarantees of origin are not available for the agreed period or volume, or if you choose certification through an independent auditor, certification can be carried out based on an auditor’s report. We have successfully applied this mechanism since 2021, and it is used by numerous leading companies and foreign investors in the country.

The Guarantee of origin Cancellation statement or the auditor’s report can be included in ESG reports and used during internal and external audits as evidence of the renewable origin of the supplied energy and of your company’s contribution to sustainable business operations.
